The Lensbury Club, Broom Road, Teddington, Surrey, TW11 9NU
One of my favourite wedding venues, The Lensbury Club is an impressively large and elegant hotel and function venue, private members club, Spa and gym all rolled it one and is perfectly situated along the picturesque banks of the River Thames in Teddington.
For any wedding couple looking to choose their wedding venue, the Lensbury Club’s greatest assets are its extensive lawns and manicured gardens as well as its large, naturally lit function room which closely adjoins these. From a photographer’s perspective, there are a number of great outdoor locations, each providing an elegant backdrop for group and family shots as well as the more fly on the wall, fun pictures. I particularly like the redbrick walls and elevated points outside which make great props for those all important bride and groom pictures, without being too formal – take a look at my website gallery and you’ll get a flavour of what I mean!
