Riverside venues invariably make for an ideal choice of wedding venue and the Carlton Mitre Hotel is no exception. Situated on the banks of the River Thames and directly opposite the historic Hampton Court Palace, this 17th century hotel (used by Charles II in conjunction with the nearby royal palace) elicits a sense of grandeur, tradition, and elegance befitting its location.
The Pavilion Room with outdoor terrace is the most suitable for large wedding functions and has a spectacular glass roof which lets in heaps of natural light – a wedding photographer’s dream. Photographic opportunities for some spectacular wedding pictures abound with this venue; it’s just down to time and a little imagination!
