Gosfield Hall wedding photographer – Richard and Daiga’s wedding

Back again at the beautiful Gosfield Hall in Essex for Richard and Daiga’s wedding. For those who don’t know, Gosfield Hall is a stunning Georgian manor house with the finest bridal suite you could wish for – huge, ornate mirrors, marble pillars, a large, original four poster bed and lots and lots of natural light make this a wonderful room for wedding photography.

I was here at Gosfield Hall only weeks before with Richard and Daiga for their pre wedding shoot which was chilly to say the least and the forecast for their wedding day was not much better. Fortunately, the gods were with us and we had an almost rain free wedding day with bursts of sunshine throughout and were able to get some great outdoor shots, especially later in the afternoon when the sun was starting to dip.

Richard and Daiga were both charming and really looked after me on the day, not that I asked for it but it is always nice to be made welcome. I was also able to enjoy a fine speech by Richard’s best man, Adam, who managed to be funny throughout without once veering in to risky territory! Adam did actually tell me he was a stand up comedian after which probably explains things…
