I am not the type of photographer who asks for orderly posing and cheesy grins. For me, a family shoot is about photographing people being together being themselves. Whether I’m taking pictures of a father and son, mum and new born or a large family group that spans several generations, I am always looking to capture what makes people unique and special.

That’s not to say my sessions aren’t fun – far from it! I’m always looking to coax a smile or two but in such a way that that moment’s happiness remains natural and unforced. I work on location using natural light wherever possible. I never rush things and only finish when I know you will be completely thrilled with the results.
