Northbrook Park Wedding Photographer: My first of three weddings in three weeks at Northbrook Park so watch this space…
Abi and Rich first first contacted me back in September asking me if I could shoot their wedding at Northbrook Park and having heard great things about it (and being available!) of course said yes. We’d all met up a couple of weeks beforehand at the venue to have a look round the grounds, talk through timings and must have shots, etc so that on the day I could concentrate on capturing the best moments and they could simply get on with having a brilliant wedding day.
Northbrook Park is a beautiful wedding venue and certainly ticks the box for bride, groom and photographer: wonderful Georgian house, dramatic views, beautiful trees, peacocks and a Union Jack flying proudly at the front. What more could you want? On the day, I started with a few detail shots of the house and grounds before catching up with Rich and the best man for a few pictures inside the Vine Room where the ceremony was to take place. Before no time at all the guests started arriving and the Northbrook Park Mercedes glided on to the forecourt bringing a very beautiful bride to the door. The Vine Room is a great choice for a wedding ceremony because there is so much natural light coming in through its many floor to ceiling windows and in turn the pictures will be bright and the bride and bridal gown will look fantastic (which they did…).
Following the ceremony, few family shots outside (goodness it was cold) and wedding breakfast, things moved on in the evening to The Orangery, a fabulous space with flagstone and hardwood flooring and pretty glass covered roof. Some fun was certainly had here, in particular Rich’s unique dance moves gracing the dance floor much to the delight of Abi and the guests!
So, my first time photographing a wedding at Northbrook Park and I was really looking forward to the next…which happened to be the following day! So thank you Abi and Rich for choosing me to photograph your wonderful wedding and letting me share in your day.
Here are some of the highlights from the day. Please feel free to comment and say nice things… 😉
