Wedding Photography Eastington Park: It seems like absolutely yonks ago that I was sitting in the Badger Inn in Eastington having a coffee while enjoying listening to Amy and Josh talk excitedly about their plans for their wedding at Eastington Park 2015.
Roll on two years and here we are on a glorious, couldn’t-have-hoped-for-better-weather day in October. I arrived early, sun already beating down, and decided to have a quiet wander around the house and grounds, picking out all those nice little details – images which I knew would help tell their whole wedding day story in their album later on.
It was then time for some bridal suite action: the frenzy of champagne drinking, nail painting, hair curling… and more champagne drinking. Always great fun and Amy was in great spirits as were her ladies!
Josh, conveniently, was getting ready in the room next door so popping between the two of them providing regular updates was the order of the morning. Isaac, their little lad, was impeccably behaved and super excited about wearing his new suit for mum and dad’s special day. So sweet.
The ceremony room at Eastington Park is always gorgeously decorated and blessed with oodles of natural light. A joy to shoot in. Amy looked beautiful as she walked down the aisle on the arm of her proud father and it was touching watching Josh struggling to compose himself as he caught a first glimpse of his new bride. A lovely moment.
Because the weather was simply perfect, everyone spent the next two hours relaxing outside the house during which time Amy, Josh and I were able to steal away from the crowd for a few pictures. Their great chemistry together, coupled with the wonderful scenery Eastington Park has to offer, made for a heady mix and some lovely, natural pictures.
The wedding was two weeks ago. I sent the two of them their images yesterday and by the evening had received an email from Amy with the following words. Brilliant…
“Ian….. you have out done yourself! They’re absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much! B****y genius! Some there I didn’t even realise you’d got,
and some better than I’d even hoped! Thank you again, was a joy to have you with us on our special day!”
